SalaryI am recruiting a Associate Director to join the Group Treasury team for a big 4 bank in Sydney.
The Business Partnering team sits within the Balance Sheet, Liquidity and Funding team and is responsible for the Group’s Funds Transfer Pricing policy & framework, whilst acting as Group Treasury’s key interface with senior business and finance stakeholders.
The Business Partnering teams’ purpose is to apply their knowledge and the insights gained via strong connections with Group Treasury’s business and finance stakeholders to manage and enhance the Group’s funds transfer pricing framework.
Role Responsibilities:
- Partnering with the Group’s business and finance stakeholders to provide insights to senior management on the Group’s balance sheet, liquidity, and funding resources; and
- Management of the Group’s Funds Transfer Pricing Framework, allocating the costs and benefits of funding and liquidity to the businesses.
- Support the ongoing management of the Group’s FTP policies, controls, and governance framework.
- Help with the design and build of new tools to understand, measure, and propose changes to liquidity transfer pricing settings.
- Provide support to the team with provision of clear and effective data & insights on ftp, balance sheet management and regulatory related liquidity and balance sheet developments for communication with key stakeholders.
- Exposure to FTP and/or interest rate risk in the banking book (APS 117) best practice would be advantageous but not essential.
- 5 years combined experience in banking, financial markets, or risk management with demonstrable quantitative analysis applications.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to learn/grasp complex matters quickly and translate for targeted audiences.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with both peers and senior management.
- Degree in Finance, Econometrics, Statistics, Mathematics, Actuarial Studies or similar.
