Our high performing, collegiate Dispute Resolution and Litigation team in Sydney is growing and we are looking for a driven individual with commercial litigation experience to play a crucial role in our team.
The role is a general commercial disputes role with an emphasis on complex contractual disputes, regulatory proceedings, corporate disputes and family trust disputes in superior courts across Australia. This is an excellent career opportunity to grow and progress in a fast-paced but rewarding environment.
The team is hard-working and high-performing, but collegiate, with a strong and unique pipeline of upcoming work. This role offers you many opportunities to apply your technical expertise to complex and challenging work, and learn from a variety of highly experienced litigators.
To succeed in this role you will ideally have;
- 2-5 years post admission legal experience working on complex commercial litigation matters
- Experience working within a high performance environment where you have mastered the ability to effectively manage your own time and work to deadlines
- Strong drafting skills with specific ability to draft court documents and affidavits
- A commitment to technical excellence and delivery of high-quality outcomes to our clients
- A team player who enjoys a collaborative working style
- An excellent academic record coupled with strong technical legal skills and a high level of attention to detail
- A self-motivated and “can-do” attitude with an eagerness to learn and grow your career with Piper Alderman
