The Opportunity: We are looking for someone to take Morningstar research and data and translate it into engaging content. You'll help us express Morningstar's investing philosophies through working with analysts and Investment Specialists to cover topics from different angles and using varied formats. You're passionate about investing, deeply curious, enjoy getting a byline, and are comfortable with technology.

Morningstar has a substantial readership of highly engaged retail and professional investors seeking to understand the key trends in financial markets and how they can build future wealth. You will be tasked with covering the fast-changing dynamics of the Australian and global equity markets, listed securities and exchange-traded funds and personal finance. You will work closely with our investment and research teams to understand our view of markets and individual securities and how our research and investment insights enable investor to reach their goals.
Day to day could see you being involved in the following:
Write and publish articles for our investor audience at Morningstar.com.au
Work closely with our investment and research teams to understand how their insights can help investors achieve their goals.
Participate in the story ideation process.
Curate and re purpose content from research reports, articles, podcasts, and video.
Keep up with digital trends and market news, considering how they should influence our work.
We're Looking For Someone Who Has
University degree preferably in a finance or business related discipline
A passion for investing, demonstrated through personal knowledge of and interest in investment markets
Proven writing skills, including the ability to write a compelling story, succinct conclusion, and snappy titles/headlines
Proficiency with (or willingness to learn) digital publishing packages and charting tools
