About Pre-Admission Services at Monash Health
The Pre-admission Service is responsible for the clinical preparation of patients undergoing surgery or interventional procedures.

About The Role
The primary function of the Associate Nurse Manager role is to assist the Nurse Manager, Pre-Admission with the clinical outcomes of patients and management of staff. This position is Full Time Fixed Term - 80 hours per fortnight. Your hours of work would be 8:30am - 4:30pm with travel required between the main Hospital sites.
Specific responsibilities of the role include:
creating an excellent first impression by providing a friendly, courteous and professional experience to all patients either by telephone or in person;
managing the clinic flow ensuring patient outcomes are met; and
supporting patients in relation to their contact and/or visit
What you have:
Proven people and communication skills including relationship building, cooperation, conflict resolution, influencing others and facilitating open discussions
Demonstrated recent leadership and management experience including change and safety leadership, coaching and development, motivating yourself and others along with managing and measuring performance
Ability to drive culture, encompassing a person-centred focus, adaptability, respecting diversity, innovative thinking, application of evidence into practice, and self-management
