About the roleWe are currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Paediatric Nurses to join our leadership team within the Cotton On Children’s Ward in the capacity of fixed term, part time Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM).
The successful applicant will have a strong focus on family centred care and it is essential that you lead in Focus Group and NSQHS Portfolio responsibilities. Professional Development opportunities are wide and varied and will be supported by the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) wherever possible.
Working within a multidisciplinary team you will be expected to facilitate and foster best practice and service delivery for our clients and their families. Preference will be given to staff with strong clinical, leadership and post graduate qualifications in Paediatric Nursing.
Skills and experience
- Post Graduate qualifications in Paediatrics.
- A minimum of 5 years clinical experience as a registered nurse.
- A minimum of 3 years recent Paediatrics experience
- Managerial qualifications and recent experience preferred.

This position is paid in accordance with the Nurses and Midwives (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2020 - 2024. The classification is Associated Nurse Unit Manager (YW11 – YW12) which ranges from $52.49 - $54.25 per hour.
All appointments are subject to a satisfactory police records check, immunisation clearance and Working with Children check and/or NDIS Worker Screening Check.
All employees must be willing and able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when required, which at a minimum is a surgical mask. Additional PPE requirements are role-dependent.
