About the facility
Alan David Lodge, located Charlemont (Grovedale), is a 108 bed, high level, Aged Care residential facility. We offer focused professional development with dedicated nursing educators on site, set within new state-of-the-art facilities.
Alan David Lodge is a modern facility located on the Torquay Highway in Charlemont. Surrounded by rustic farmland, the country setting makes Alan David Lodge a peaceful and serene experience for people transitioning into high level care. The facility features spacious design, modern decor, a contemporary colour scheme with natural lighting and connection to external courtyards and the unique community garden precinct.
About the role
As the Associate Nurse Unit Manager (ANUM) you will provide leadership in the planning and delivery of a high quality service within Barwon Health’s Residential Aged Care Service.
- Duties of your role include, but are not limited to:
- Effective daily allocation of staff resources to required area’s on ward to ensure skills mix
- Ensuring provision of a high quality service that meets the needs of the residents, and promotes staff satisfaction and retention
- Managing day to day functioning of the shift to ensure operational requirements of the ward are met
