The opportunity With several exciting opportunities in the pipeline, our Newcastle office is seeking another Associate Structural Engineer to join their expanding team. Joining the Resources team, you will exercise expertise in designing and specifying structural systems for safe, sound and optimal performance to meet Client expectations regarding quality, budget and schedule.  What you’ll do: Work as part of an established team of Structural Engineers within a multi-disciplined engineering team to deliver a diverse range of mine process and non-process infrastructure projects Prepare preliminary and detailed designs, specifications and documentation for all Structural Engineering project work, ensuring compliance with conditions and parameters set out in the project scope of works. Undertake design calculations for process and material handling structures, including (but not limited to), buildings, conveyors, retaining structures, footings, bins/silos Conduct structural integrity inspections for the existing mining infrastructure, travelling to the site when required Assisting with project scope and budget development in response to…
