- Deliver data science projects spanning the entirety of the project lifecycle.
- Develop and implement advanced machine learning algorithms and models to solve complex business problems.
- Communicate findings, insights and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Collaborate internally with the Data Science Team, and externally with teams across Entain to identify requirements, define scope, and prioritise deliverables.
- Explore and evaluate the vast amounts of data, available technologies and techniques to enhance the accuracy, scalability and efficiency of our models and products.
- Ensure data privacy and security measures are adhered to in all stages of the project lifecycle.
- Stay up to date with the latest with the latest research and industry trends, sharing insights with the team and adopting cutting-edge approaches where appropriate.
- Demonstrated experience in a Data Science or similar role, or advanced degree in a relevant quantitative field. Experience in Digital Wagering and similar fields is advantageous.
- Strong proficiency in key programming languages (Python & SQL), their tools and libraries (Scikit-learn/PyTorch/TensorFlow), and proficiency with version control systems (Git).
- Experience working with cloud services such as AWS, Databricks and Snowflake is preferred.
- Knowledge of the underlying mathematical foundations of statistics and machine learning and their application in industry.
- Self-driven with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Experience conveying technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong collaboration skills, eager to both take on feedback and offer guidance.
