Job Description
What will your day look like?
As an Associate, you will work with clients from a range of industries and different geographical locations. No two days are the same. You will have the opportunity to work with international clients from tech scale-ups, to the world’s largest and most sophisticated corporations. You will assist these clients and their employees navigate the complex tax challenges that come with managing a globally mobile workforce. You will assist our Managers and Partners on client engagements and help them solve complex business issues, from strategising, implementing and executing the plan.
Your day to day responsibilities will be varied, and may include:
● Developing and providing employment tax advice to clients to help them meet their obligations associated with fringe benefits tax, superannuation guarantee, PAYG, payroll tax and workers compensation.
● Working with clients on a wide range of cross border income tax issues including double tax agreements and tax residency considerations.
● Partnering with clients to provide assistance with regulatory reviews, refund requests and disclosures.
● Liaising with the Australian Taxation Office on behalf of clients in regards to compliance matters
● Assisting clients with process transformation and automation of procedures associated with employment tax compliance obligations.
● Developing and providing general employment tax advice to employers across numerous sectors.
● Supporting clients with the use of analytics to provide relevant insights for decision making.
● Assisting to manage day to day relationships with clients, including being a contact point.
● Collaborating with our national mobility, immigration, tax, payroll and US tax compliance teams to deliver high standard, integrated and comprehensive client service.
The salary range for this position is $65,000 to $75,000.
