Qualifications & experience
● Bachelor's degree or higher degree in Electronic Engineering or related fields
● At least 2 Years of work experience
Tasks & responsibilities
● Support Build to print, customer design integration to REDARC standards.
● Undertake design activities on the development of new products including battery chargers, power supplies, inverters, DC/DC voltage converters and customer electronic products)
● Redesign existing products as required including PCB Updates
● Perform complex fault finding and effect repairs
● Generation of schematics and PCB CAD files
● Generation of bills of materials (BOMs)
● Support part replacement/obsolescence management
● Assist with the development of supply chains with Procurement to source components
● Creation of prototypes
● Creation of test specifications and undertake hardware testing
● Continuously improve the design process and utilise the company’s Stage gate methodology to deliver in collaboration with Project Management and Engineering
● Ensure design of products maximises commonality through modular construction and are where practical optimised for cost effective manufacture
● Participate in specific projects identified by the Engineering Manager or Team Leader. Participate in product and process improvement teams as required
