Associate/Senior Associate (4-10) - Corporate - Sydney

We represent a leading boutique law firm in Sydney, providing specialist legal services and expertise in two areas: corporate advisory and litigation and dispute resolution. 
  
The Role
  
Due to a mix of growth and a senior member of the team leaving the team, the firm are looking to add an Associate/Senior Associate to their Corporate Advisory practice. 
  
  
The Team
  
The team act on a wide range of corporate and commercial matters including M&A, private equity and venture capital investments and capital raisings. The team has advised companies, private equity funds, venture capital funds, high net worth family offices and emerging companies in all stages of their investment and growth in both private and public M&A. They are proud to have acted on high profile cross-border transactions across a broad range of sectors.
  
  
Requirements

• The ideal candidate will have between 4- 10 years’ post-admission experience gained at another reputable Australian or international firm, with an interest in working on first-rate matters, in a boutique, high-performing environment. 
• Experience advising on key matters relating to corporate/M&A including due diligence, drafting & negotiating acquisition documents and regulatory approvals.
• Experience with corporate restructuring and corporate governance.
• Some experience of licensing and general contracting arrangements.
• Highly developed legal and research skills.
