Country Hearing Care is a locally owned, independent, professional audiology business. We employ a great team and have permanent clinics in Mildura, Swan Hill, Echuca, Eaglehawk and Broken Hill. Our Broken Hill clinic fills a critical role within the local community and is operated by team of very dedicated staff who take pride in their ability to provide a high level of professional service to the Broken Hill community and beyond.
About the Role
We are seeking a nurse to support our busy clinical team by performing tasks* including:
- Assist Audiologists with patient care and treatment procedures including Telehealth.
- Conduct hearing screenings and assist with diagnostic tests.
- Provide wax removal services using microsuction equipment under the supervision of audiologists.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
- Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the clinic environment.
- Assist with administrative tasks as required. *Extensive training provided for all tasks
What we are looking for
- Nursing qualification with current registration and practicing certificate (Registered Nurse applications are preferred, however Enrolled Nurse applications will be considered).
- Previous audiology/ENT experience is beneficial but not essential
- Previous experience in performing invasive procedures is preferred
In addition, the successful applicant must be:
- Self -motivated with the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Have a strong passion for quality care and customer service.
- Exhibit excellent communication & time management skills
- Have a strong desire for ongoing development.
- Be outgoing and able to engage with the local community
- Be adaptable to change and new challenges
