The Project Manager is the person who has the overall responsibility for the successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of Prysmian’s agreed scope of works in the project.
The Project Manager shall have the overall responsibility for meeting all the contractual obligations of the project from all aspects, and more specifically in terms of quality, safety, time frame and assigned budget. The key tasks and responsibilities of the Project Manager are listed below:
- Lead Prysmian team in the project planning and design sessions with contractor and/or client.
- Ensure that Prysmian’s scope in the project is delivered on-time and within budget.
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs, if any.
- Optimize and improve processes and the overall approach where necessary.
- Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
- Coordinate internal resources and Prysmian’s ASP for the flawless execution of the project.
- Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress.
- Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.
We are looking for the following skills and motivations:
- Proven track record in delivering projects in engineering and construction industry.
- Motivated and can operate with limited direct supervision.
- Prior experience working and dealing with a variety of stakeholders.
- Knowledge or experience with HV cables and systems is essential
