Duties Include- Embrace the opportunity to perform repairs and maintenance on a diverse range of heavy and light vehicles, showcasing a proactive willingness to expand your skill set.
- Take the initiative in servicing and repairing vehicle air conditioning systems, demonstrating a commitment to continuous learning, and mastering new challenges.
- Proactively engage in diagnostics and fault-finding, cultivating a mindset of perpetual improvement and adaptability.
- Display an eagerness to learn through the interpretation of machine data, contributing to your evolving expertise in understanding and optimizing vehicle performance.
- Exhibit a keen desire to absorb knowledge in the implementation of systems data, showcasing a commitment to staying abreast of the latest technologies and methodologies.
- Cert III in Automotive Electrical Technology (AUR30312) or equivalent with substantial heavy-duty experience.
- Alternatively, Cert III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology (AUR31120) or equivalent (MVTC).
- Minimum 3 years post-trade experience in a comparable heavy industry role.
- Proficient in diagnostic and repair techniques, emphasising problem-solving skills.
- Advantageous to have heavy equipment product knowledge and experience in component changeouts.
- Valid C class licence is a requirement, with MR licence preferred (not essential).
- Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a well-established ability to work with precision.
- Strong interpersonal, teamwork, organisational, time management, and communication skills.
- Flexibility and willingness to work in shifts.
