Auto Electrician

SMW Group is a proud provider of field servicing, maintenance, and emergency repair and rebuild services for more than a decade within mining, construction and civil industries. SMW is seeking qualified Auto Electricians to fill a mine site based position. Previous site experience is highly desirable but not essential.

To be a successful applicant, your minimum requirements are:

• Trade qualification as an Auto Electrician
• Minimum 1 years' post-trade experience
• Current Drivers Licence
• Air Conditioning Licence preferred but not essential

Areas of Responsibility:

• Carry out maintenance, fault finding and diagnostics and repairs.
• Read and understand electrical schematics.
• Maintain suitable work practices.
• To conduct quality repairs and maintenance in a timely and safe manner.
• Liaise with site personal in relation to repairs.

High risk licenses and competencies (e.g. forklift ticket, working at heights) will be highly regarded.
