Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Event Manager with a focus on Events and Localised Marketing Activity. The successful candidate will plan and execute marketing events in for AutogenAI APAC. They will strategise with the marketing team to create compelling event messaging, coordinate with sales to leverage events for lead generation, and work with product teams to ensure our product is being showcased effectively.

About you
Holding extensive experience in corporate hospitality, marketing and events, you are passionate about pursuing a career in SaaS. You are particularly enthusiastic about events as a key driver for lead generation. You understand the critical role a thoughtful event execution plays in fuelling sales teams with lead sand spurring existing account growth. You have a flair for the creative, rigorous attention to detail and a passion for the touches that make an event memorable.
Key Responsibilities
Planning, coordinating, managing, and executing all aspects of marketing events (which include, but are not limited to, prospect dinners, conferences, industry events, community events, customer success experiences and awards evenings).
- Researching and staying on top of the latest restaurants, premises and other venues that would be ideal to host ultra exclusive c-suite events.
- Organising, planning and executing events to a high standard end to end.
- Devising strategies to ensure all events have high attendance, high engagement during the event & generate leads.
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with local businesses, communities, and media to promote the brand and host events.
- Tracking, analysing, and reporting on event performance and marketing activities to assess effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborating with internal teams and external partners to ensure successful execution of marketing initiatives.
- Staying informed about market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic planning.
- Managing the marketing events budget, ensuring all activities deliver value for money.
- Coordinating with the APAC sales team to ensure alignment between marketing activities and sales objectives.
- Ensuring all marketing activities comply with relevant regulations and standards.
- Managing and developing promotional material and marketing collateral.
- Representing the company at industry events, trade shows, and community events.
- Developing processes and operations manuals and “what good looks like” for AutogenAI Australia events.
You should have
- Extensive experience in hospitality and events,
- Strong experience with or aptitude for planning high-value, high-impact corporate events.
- Exceptional communication, organisational and project management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with teams and independently when required.
- Creative thinker with strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in marketing automation technology and relevant marketing tools.
- Able to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Highly Desirable
- A thorough understanding of effective marketing and communications principles and strategies.
- Have managed staff in your current or last role.
- Experience in creating thought-leadership content pieces.
- Experience managing external creatives and/or digital marketing agencies.
Reward & Remuneration
The base salary on offer for this role is $90,000 - $120,000 plus superannuation dependent on relevant experience.
