An exciting opportunity exists within our Sales & Events team for a talented and seasoned Sales & Events Manager at Strathfield Golf Club. Reporting directly to the Director Sales & Events, the Sales & Events Manager will be responsible for the management of sales and event coordination for The Fresh Collective events at the Strathfield Golf Club (SGC).
You will build excellent relationships with clients, while working in partnership with other departments to deliver exceptional event experiences and budgeted revenues.
About you
- Minimum 2 years sales management experience with a hospitality group/ venue, catering company, or luxury hotel
- Build and maintain strong business relationships through networking and effective communication
- Outgoing personality with strong sales and negotiation skills
- Strong customer service focus, organisation, and time management
- High attention to detail with the ability to multi-task/manage multiple events
- A dynamic and passionate attitude towards food & beverage
- Sound organisational and computer skills – Priava experience is desirable
- Enjoy adapting to a fast paced, project focused environment
- Exceptional personal presentation
- Tertiary qualifications are desirable
