Your Next Role
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will provide daily support to the maintenance and operational teams by identifying, managing and improving electrical and production automation processes. The position is also expected to provide technical expertise and leadership to the operational and maintenance teams to improve the business’ overall equipment effectiveness.

- Operations stakeholders are well engaged regarding electrical safety and optimization processes and you work together to achieve effective flow control and improved production outputs.
- Recommend and improve electrical/mechanical optimisation solutions by partnering with internal and external stakeholders on various site projects.
- Electrical team members see you as a mentor who helps develop their skill to resolve complex electrical issues.
- All tasks are performed to the defined standard and our quality, environmental, legislative and regulatory requirements are compliant
You will be based at our plant in Tumbarumba, NSW. This idyllic country town offers affordable living and the opportunity to be a part of a supportive community of people and is situated within 90 minutes drive of Wagga Wagga & Albury.
About you
- Electrical trade qualification.
- Demonstrated extensive experience with PLC, DCS, and SCADA.
- Demonstrated high level of experience with Allen Bradley/PILZ PLC programming and fault-finding, and AC drives and associated systems skills.
- Hydraulics and Pneumatics experience highly recommended.
- First aid certificate if deemed necessary or ability to acquire.
- Above average computer skills essential with pronto or similar CMMS experience highly regarded.
- Demonstrated experience in technical service delivery, planning and customer relations, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
- Experience in lean manufacturing is beneficial, particularly problem-solving methodologies.
