For our support office we are looking for a Senior Financial Accountant. As a Senior Financial Accountant, you will work with the accounting team in order to ensure the effective management and development of the team . You will be in charge of the month end accounting process, management reporting including the statutory and tax reporting packages, GL account reconciliations and supervision of the Accounts. You will also develop, be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our support office accounting operations and ensuring compliance with accounting fundamentals and company policies. This is an exciting role that requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Your new job includes
• Manage month-end processes including journal review, preparation of monthly management accounts and reconciliations.
• Manage audit and compliance and group reporting packages.
• Monitor and analyse financial data, identifying trends and variances with emphasis on capital expenditure, personnel costs and operating expense review.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures for key processes to establish and maintain internal controls.
• Collaborate with regional and global counterparts on reporting and projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to help with periodic cost tracking, budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to Accounts team, fostering their professional growth and development.
What you should bring along
• Degree qualified Accountant with CA/CPA qualifications or in process of completing exams/qualifications.
• Previous experience in financial/statutory reporting desirable.
• Knowledge and experience in Accounting and Financial Management
• Demonstrated ability in resolving complex technical issues and the ability to work under pressure
• Demonstrated ability to work to tight deadlines
• Advanced spreadsheet modelling in Excel
• SAP experience is highly desirable
