If you answered ‘Yes’ to all of the above, we have an exciting opportunity for a Automotive trainer and assessor to join our team. We have a part-time or casual position on offer that could be negotiated leading to full-time in the future.
The successful candidate must:
- a minimum of 5 years of experience in the automotive industry
- maintain currency in the automotive industry
- an understanding of regulatory compliance, or willingness to learn,
- a high attention to detail with the ability to work independently and in a team
- strong organisational, planning and time management skills with an ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines and adapt to changing environments.
- experience in participating in validation processes, or willingness to learn
- experience managing stakeholders.
- computer literacy (MS Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint)
Desired qualifications but not essential:
- Cert III, IV or Diploma level qualification in Automotive
- Current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or willingness to obtain one at company expense
Your role will include:
- delivering engaging training sessions to international students with a focus on practical experiences
- assessing students in the above qualifications post training
- marking assessments
- providing weekly progress reports to admin and support staff
- developing training programs whenever required
- participating in inhouse and external audits
