Reporting to the AV Operations & Services Manager, this role is responsible for monitoring, managing, and responding to logged jobs, faults and requests flagged on Maximo Help Desk across the Crown Melbourne complex. This position is also responsible for the effective management of the Maximo Help desk, Maximo training for employees, preventative maintenance, maintaining system programmes, new employee training, asset management, and “End of Life” Capex budgeting while rostering and managing employees.
Some responsibilities of the role will include, but are not limited to:
- Respond to logged jobs on the AV Help Desk (Maximo) for faults and requests
- Directing team members as required to ensure service levels are maintained
- Ensure preventative maintenance of AV systems is carried out regularly to ensure system integrity.
- Support the wider Crown Melbourne business by proactively monitoring and up keeping all AV systems; Preventative maintenance Asset inspection Asset replenishment Team coaching Monitoring faults/errors
- Logged jobs to be acknowledged within defined timeframes. Actioned as soon as possible prioritising business requirements and resources.
- Liaise with external suppliers and industry professionals to source information/advice, procure services and/or troubleshoot technical issues as required.
- Previous audio/visual experience
- Experience and knowledge of Large AV integrated systems
- Experience and knowledge of audio/lighting production techniques
- Experience with the Windows operating system
- Awareness or experience of Linux and iOS operating environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- You must be fully vaccinated (with two doses of an approved COVID-19 vaccine) or have a genuine medical exemption to be eligible to work on site at Crown
