We are seeking an AWS Integration Developer to join our dynamic team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work outside the typical office environment and gain hands-on experience in technical support. We are looking for candidates who are positive, energetic, and eager to learn, as training will be provided to develop the necessary skills and knowledge for success in this role.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy integration solutions on the AWS platform, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design integration architectures that align with business objectives.
- Implement AWS cloud-native services, such as AWS Lambda, Amazon API Gateway and AWS messaging services - SNS, SQS, to build efficient and scalable integration solutions.
- Write clean and well-structured code in programming languages like TypeScript/Javascript to create custom integrations and data transformations.
- Ensure data integrity and security by implementing appropriate authentication, authorization, and encryption mechanisms.
- Perform testing and debugging of integration solutions to identify and resolve any issues or bottlenecks.
- Optimize integration processes to enhance performance and efficiency, leveraging AWS monitoring and logging services for proactive system management.
- Collaborate with support and architecture teams to ensure solution meets standards.
- Solid experience in developing and implementing integrations using AWS services.
- Possesses a solid understanding of contemporary software engineering practices, including microservice and event-driven architectures, test-driven development, and continuous delivery.
- Strong understanding of AWS cloud-native services, including AWS Lambda, Amazon API Gateway, AWS Step Functions, and messaging services like Amazon SQS or Amazon SNS.
- Familiarity with integration patterns, protocols, and standards (REST, JSON, etc.) and their application in building robust integrations.
- Knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms, such as OAuth, JWT, or IAM, for securing integration endpoints.
- Experience with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure automation using tools like AWS CloudFormation or Terraform.
- Ability to analyze complex business requirements and design solutions accordingly.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities, with a focus on teamwork and knowledge sharing.
- Extensive practical experience with AWS (Amazon Web Services).
- Familiarity with enterprise cloud best practices, such as the AWS Well-Architected Framework.
- Programming Languages: NodeJS, TypeScript, JavaScript
- Cloud platform: AWS, AWS integration patterns
- Delivery: Jira, Confluence, Markdown
- SourceControl: Git (BitBucket)
- DevOps: CI/CD, CodePipeline
- Testing: Jest
