About the Role
Circlacon Pty Ltd are targeting a Construction Project Manager or Civil Construction Engineer to join our dynamic team-orientated group. The incumbent will be able to provide diverse and versatile leadership skills as well as hands-on support to our existing senior management team and construction supervisors in the areas of management, tendering, planning, budgeting, scheduling, programming and reporting of projects valued from $500k - $10+ million.
Responsibilities -
- Tender preparation and management
- Contract negotiations
- Delivery of projects in accordance with contractual obligations and company policies/procedures
- Financial reporting including monthly reviews, progress claims, cost valuations, budgets and forecasts
- Project Management including programming/scheduling, contractual administration, procurement and technical aspects
- Lead & support a safety first – ‘Zero Harm’ working environment/culture
- Develop and maintain business relationships with various stakeholders
- Assist with the growth of project coordinators and supervisory team members
- Hold productive project meetings with both internal & external stakeholders
- Review all project-specific documentation and ensure compliance with such documents
- Monitoring project progress and delivery in accordance with applicable programs and budgets
- Prepare accurate project reports and provide reporting on project risks and opportunities
- Effectively assign tasks to project team members to deliver the required outputs to agreed specifications

Skills and Experience -
- Degree in Project Management or Civil Construction Engineering
- 3+ years working in a Construction environment
- 2+ years involvement in tender preparation and contract negotiations
- Right to Work in Australia (Citizen or current Visa holder)
- Australian Driver's Licence
- Current Construction Induction training
- Demonstrated commercial experience to include planning up to 3 months ahead, weekly reporting on progress against plan and cost
- Exposure to procurement processes including the development of tender packages
- Strong attitude and awareness towards safety
- Strong leadership, interpersonal skills and desire to work in a team environment
- High level of verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent planning and organisational skills

- Advanced problem solver and strategic thinker
- Skilled in Microsoft Project and all Microsoft applications
- Skilled in Auto-CAD and Civil 3D
