About the RoleThe Facilities Maintenance Planner provides a range of agreed, technical and facility management services to develop and maintain GMW’s building portfolio and support irrigation infrastructure maintenance and construction programs. This role is a hands on physical role, dealing with all building related operational and maintenance requirements of our offices and depot buildings.
Based in Tatura, you will join the Facilities team located within the Business & Finance Division.
This role will support the business with the following responsibilities:
- Assist in the delivery of service contracts for GMW facilities to meet compliance of relevant standards, codes and regulatory requirements
- Assist in organizing contractors to respond to maintenance requests
- Under direction, manage minor works programs, including budgets and delivery
- Under direction, manage GMW’s physical security swipe access and software database
- Assist with updating the online maintenance management system
- Comply with all GMW OH&S standards, policies and procedures
- Participate in the standby / recall / afterhours process.
- Experience in the management and maintenance of buildings and facilities
- Trade qualification is desirable but not essential
- Understanding of Building Essential Safety Measures would be desirable but not essential
- Strong customer focus skills
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Ability to use IT systems
- Experienced in safe manual handling
- Maximo maintenance management system experience is desirable but not essential
