Permanent - Full time 38 hoursSalary: Band 5 - $74,396 - $86,330 + 11 % superannuation*Role includes an RDOWe are looking for a Supervisor Parks Maintenance who will be responsible for providing on the job leadership to designated Parks staff and maintaining, managing and improving horticultural assets across the City’s open space network, to a high standard.What you’ll be working on
- Leading a dedicated on-ground team to deliver a wide range of horticultural and park maintenance tasks to a high standard.
- Monitoring plant & equipment usage by staff within area of responsibility to ensure correct and safe operation and maintenance.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with Hobsons Bay City Council policies and procedures.
What you need to succeed- Tertiary Qualification in Horticulture or relevant on the job experience in Horticultural practices with broad technical knowledge.
- Hold a current Victorian Driver’s License with medium rigid truck endorsement
- Current Agricultural Chemical Users Permit, Chainsaw License and First Aid Certificate is desirable
