YOU COULD BE THE ONE IFYou are passionate about working in a team environment and preserving the building and assets to ensure the hotel is in perfect shape for our guests. In conjunction with your "we can do anything" approach, you will require knowledge of relevant legislation, standards and codes of practice, a logical approach to problem solving and your knowledge of a trade will be highly regarded.IF YOU WERE TO START IN THIS ROLE, YOU WOULD
- Be responsible for carrying out repairs and maintaining a proactive preventative maintenance program, throughout the property. Repairs will include basic carpentry and plumbing, fixtures and fittings (adjusting, replacing), painting;
- Liaise with the Front Office team to log and complete maintenance tasks related to accommodation rooms and hotel public areas;
- Ensure cost control measures are implemented and complete administrative duties;
- Conduct inspections in all work areas to ensure they are organised and well maintained;
- Coordinate monthly stock takes to record and manage all stock and ensure sufficient stock is available;
- Purchase equipment and select contractors which meet quality standards and comply with budget guidelines
