AddressWe are seeking an experienced Baker for a busy family owned bakery in outback Queensland. The bakery services the small community and visiting travelers to the region.
This small but extremely busy bakery bakes fresh bread, pies, sausage rolls, pastries and a tasty selection of sweets including cream buns, lamingtons, apple turnovers, crumbles, vanilla slice and array of other delicious treats.
The successful candidate will be able to handle large volume baking, heaving lifting and enjoy early morning starts. The baker works solo with the occasional assistance from counter staff so must have excellent knowledge of all products.

Immediate Start Required
Package: (Retail Industry Award)
- $37.78 per hour Monday-Friday
- $45.33 per hour Saturday
Duties:
- Working solo for fresh daily baking
- Maintain back of house stock levels
- Preparation and baking of breads using the genesis machine
- Preparing and baking various sausage rolls, pies, pasties etc
- Preparation and baking of sweets, Danishes, buns etc
- Maintain a clean work space
- Other duties as required
Candidate Requirements:
- Previous experience with large scale baking
- Able to work solo
- Enjoy early morning starts
- Highly organised and time focused
- Able to lift heavy Items-Flour bags etc
