We have a delightful opportunity available for a hardworking and enthusiastic Bakery Manager to join our team at our company-operated store, Bakers Delight Hawthorn.
The ideal candidate has previous management experience but is looking to take their skills into a new and exciting industry. Bakers Delight can help you make this a reality within this Bakery Manager role with comprehensive training and support.

What you will bring to the team…
- Previous experience working in a similar level management role
- Have a passion for baking and delighting people everyday
- Willingness to learn, grow and develop in retail baking (no baking experience required for commencement of the role)
- A strong customer service focus and an interest in merchandising and retail
- Experience in managing and leading a small team, customer service, recruitment and selection
- Availability to work across a rotating roster which will include early mornings and weekends
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
What you’ll be doing…
- Providing delightful product and service to our customers
- Achieving a high standard of bakery presentation and cleanliness
- Managing the operations of the bakery to maximise sales, profitability and customer satisfaction
- Staff management including recruitment, training and performance management
- Baking and presenting quality product through dough making and oven work
- Maintaining bakery cleanliness to WHS Standards
- Implementing systems, procedures and process to meet OHS and bakery cleanliness standards
- Controlling bakery financial management and performance
- A focus on delighting customers and an ability to consistently show initiative in an efficient manner will help you succeed in this role.
