The Role:
As a Bar Attendant at Cater Care's Ernest Henry location in Cloncurry, you will play a crucial role within the CCS Operations Department. This Permanent - Full Time position in the Bar Attendant category offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our operations.
Roster: 14/7 | 0430 - 1215 & 1630 - 1900
Point of Hire: Townsville or Cairns point of hire - FIFO role
Responsibilities:
- Greet and serve customers with a friendly and professional attitude, ensuring an exceptional level of customer service at all times
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to company standards
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the bar area, including regular cleaning of equipment and utensils
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately, following established procedures for billing and payment processing
- Monitor stock levels and replenish supplies as needed, ensuring that all products are stored appropriately
- Adhere to relevant health and safety regulations, taking responsibility for maintaining a safe environment for both customers and colleagues
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods, contributing to a positive working atmosphere
The Ideal Applicant Will Have:
- Previous experience working as a Bar Attendant 12 months +
- A Valid Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate is mandatory and required to be successful and compliant for the role
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers from diverse backgrounds
- A motivated, enthusiastic and positive ‘can-do’ attitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced time-sensitive environment
- Pride in personal appearance & hygiene
- Drivers License (Manual + Heavy Rigid Licenses')
- Australian Citizen or Australian Permanent Resident for permanency position
