- Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate: Depending on the jurisdiction, a valid RSA certificate may be required to serve alcohol.
- TAB and KENO Compliance Training.
- Responsible Conduct of Gambling(RCG).
Tasks & responsibilities
- Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to patrons by greeting them warmly, taking orders, and addressing any concerns or questions they may have.
- Bar Operations: Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Gaming Assistance: Assist patrons with gaming machines, explain game rules, and handle cash transactions for gaming credits.
- Maintaining Cleanliness: Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are upheld in the bar and gaming areas, including wiping down surfaces, restocking supplies, and disposing of trash.
- Compliance: Adhere to all relevant laws and regulations regarding the sale and service of alcohol, responsible gambling practices, and health and safety protocols.
- Cash Handling: Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly, including processing payments, providing change, and reconciling cash drawers at the end of shifts.
- Promotions and Upselling: Promote special offers, events, and promotions to patrons, and upsell additional items to enhance their experience.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with other staff members, including bartenders, servers, and management, to ensure smooth operations and a positive work environment.
- Problem Resolution: Resolve any customer complaints or issues promptly and professionally, escalating to management as needed.
