Reporting to Woden Central Manager, the Bar Supervisor is responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction in relation to our beverage service. You need to have excellent supervisory skills as well as an extensive knowledge of beer wine and spirits. The role is responsible for overseeing and developing the bar staff whilst ensuring all policies and procedures are adhered to.
To secure the role, we are looking for:
- 2-3 years of customer service experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably in restaurants and bars.
- Basic knowledge of beverage products including cocktail design and food and beverage matching.
- Maintain a high attention to detail in terms of beverage presentation and bar cleanliness.
- Train and develop the bar team.
- Assist the Woden Central manager in developing all beverage lists and promotional offers.
- Must highly value the customer and recognize the importance of their feedback.
- Extensive food and beverage knowledge with the ability to recall ingredients and dishes.
- Familiarity with hospitality industry standards.
- An outgoing personality with outstanding communication abilities.
- Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate valid in ACT.
- Rapport building, Honest, reliable and ethical.
