Bar Supervisor

Lake Karrinyup Country Club is seeking a Full-time dynamic and experienced Bar Supervisor to enhance our Food & Beverage team at the Club.

Established in 1928, Lake Karrinyup Country Club (LKCC) stands as Western Australia's premier private golf club, consistently ranked among the top ten golf courses in Australia. Our commitment extends beyond golf, focusing on delivering an exceptional member experience through high-quality casual and a la carte dining, hosting functions, and maintaining an award-winning wine list amidst a picturesque setting.

We are in search of a dedicated team player who embodies our values and possesses the following qualifications:

About You:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar supervisory role.
• Passion for providing outstanding service, ensuring seamless Food & Beverage operations, creating memorable guest experiences, and specifically, managing the bar area efficiently.
• Charismatic and energetic personality with a strong drive for success.
• Capability to oversee employee professionalism, presentation, and performance, including effective management and mentoring when necessary.
• Positive and respectful communication style, fostering an approachable, helpful, and personable environment.
• Excellent multitasking and problem-solving skills.
• Flexible availability, including weekends, is expected.
• Current WA RSA and Approved Managers Certificate are mandatory.
• Experience in training, mentoring, and supervising staff, with a focus on service delivery and recovery.
• Strong knowledge of food and beverages, with a favorable understanding of wines.

Additional Bar-Related Duties:

• Manage and optimize bar inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels and minimizing wastage.
• Barista coffee skill required.
• Implement and maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the bar area.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage service, ensuring a seamless and synchronized experience for guests.
• Handle members feedback and concerns, implementing effective service recovery strategies.
• Conduct regular training sessions for bar staff, keeping them informed about new products and service standards.
• Enforce responsible service of alcohol policies to ensure a safe and enjoyable environment for all guests.
