Who is Mpower
Mpower is a well-established, successful, accredited not-for-profit community based organisation servicing South West Victoria. Mpower has been providing a range of services to individuals and families for over 45 years. Vast growth over the last five years, including the introductions of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and expansion of community sector services has allowed us to develop responsive and complimentary services in our local community.
About the Role
Mpower offers services through a supportive, multidisciplinary, key-worker model across early childhood and school-aged teams. These teams consist of Speech Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Early Childhood Educators, Behaviour Support Practitioners, and Assistants. Due to ongoing growth and service planning we are seeking passionate Behaviour Support Practitioners, with positions available and based in Warrnambool, Hamilton or Portland. As part of the team, you will support the delivery of specialist early childhood intervention supports and services for children with disabilities or developmental delays by providing Behaviour Support expertise and practical guidance that empowers parents, carers, and others to support positive behavioural outcomes for their children.
About you
You will be a dedicated and experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner, who wants to make a real difference to the lives of children and their families, and who is qualified in Psychology, Social Work or Counselling. You will love working in a team, and you will thrive on the learning opportunities that come from working with professionals from other disciplines in a transdisciplinary approach.
Why work with us?
