Responsibilities
The Operations Manager role will see you oversee and manage the daily operations. To succeed in this very demanding role you will need to be able to effectively prioritise the daily operations to ensure key time critical milestones are achieved.
Requirements
- Excellent people leadership experience
- Proven track record in transport routing efficiencies (pallet, carton & linehaul)
- Strong understanding of the Sydney Metro Road Transport network and distribution channels
- Analytical nature and process driven personality with a keen sense of urgency
- Strong leadership capabilities with a drive for continuous improvement & safety
- Demonstrated knowledge of CoR and Fatigue Management and understanding of WHS, and IR within a transport environment
- Sound Linehaul Operations experience
- Experience with sortation automation preferred
