Your New Company/Role:
As one of the established and renowned organisation, my client is looking for an experienced Billing Administrator to join their team due to remarkable growth. This is a 6 - 12 months role temporary and subject to extension with competitive hourly rate. This role requires someone who is happy to start at 7AM- 3PM (can go back to 8AM-4PM after some time).
About the Opportunity / Responsibilities:
Reporting directly to a supportive and nurturing Manager, you must have great knowledge and exposure within a billing/finance environment:
- Manual confirmation of runsheets where necessary
- Review of automatic confirmation for major errors, and release of postpones jobs as required
- Reconciling external subcontractor invoices to confirmed runsheets
- Creating and matching purchase orders to confirm external tipping
- Ensure Supervisor/Manager is kept informed of issues
- Attend and participate in regular team meetings
- Prepare and provide information on tasks to other stakeholders as instructed
- Assist the Billing Administration Team by providing daily administrative support.
- Ensure accuracy of revenue by review of exception reports and initiating corrective actions and other administrative duties as required.
- Provide reports, information and support to Managers and other divisions as required.
- Ad-hoc administration tasks as required
To contribute their valuable knowledge and experience within the Accounting function:
- Diploma/Degree in Accounting & Finance or equivalent work experience
- 2 years or more experience in a similar role
- Experience in large Accounting ERP system - SAP highly desirable but not essential
- Intermediate Excel knowledge
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Able to work 7AM-3PM
- Long term position - between 6-12 months and can get extended - candidates with notice periods are welcomed to apply
- $36 - $48 per hour + Super (Based on experience)
- To be based in the office, no work from home flexibility
