The role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Administrator to join our National Billing team on a permanent, full-time basis. Working in a dedicated and supportive team you will be responsible for supporting the billing process (including ebilling), providing billing support to Partners and Practice Administrators and coverage for the Finance Billing Coordinators.
This opportunity can be based from our Sydney or Melbourne office.
Key responsibilities
This varied and exciting role will see you:
Managing billing inboxes - bill cancellations, write offs, trust and split bills, credit notes
Assisting Partners and Practice Administrators with billing queries and requests
Setting up client billing guidelines
Loading and managing invoices via ebilling databases
Maintaining, tracking, and reporting on ebilling uploads and issues
Assembling and sending invoices for centralised client dispatching
Assisting with preparing and dispatching monthly client reports
Complying with billing procedures and processes
Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Experience in a finance administration position within a professional services environment (preferably legal)
Experience handling high volume transactions with great accuracy and diligence
Experience using a Practice Management System (Aderant Expert advantageous)
An understanding of Trust accounting rules and legislative requirements
Highly developed organisational skills with strong attention to detail
The ability to work through high volumes, especially at month end
Intermediate MS Excel (desirable) and competent with other Microsoft Office applications
The ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders of varying seniority
