Annually, the RCH has 300,000+ Specialist Clinic appointments, 90,000+ Emergency Department presentations and 20,000 elective surgeries.The RCH is committed to the .RCH enjoys high employee engagement and is committed to staff safety and a positive culture through enactment of our Compact.For further Information on RCH is available .About This RoleThis is a permanent Full Time position 80hrs per fortnight with the option to consider job sharing at part time hours with the Operations Business Unit.You will be responsible for completing daily billing, invoicing, receipting and reconciliation requirements for multiple funding streams within the RCH Operations BUSINESS Unit.What You'll Achieve:
- Complete daily billing task, including invoicing, receipting and reconciliation as required
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the billing requirements for Ambulatory Services and Medical Imaging
- Work within billing targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPI's)
- Demonstrated experience using computer applications, including but not limited to Electronic Medical Record (EMR), Patient Administration System (IBA) and Billing Software (Impulse, Karisma or Oracle
- Previous billing experience within the healthcare sector
- Possess, demonstrate, and apply effective communication and interpersonal skills
