About the Role
Day-to-day you will work closely with our project teams throughout the project lifecycle to deliver successful outcomes and exceptional documentation for our clients.
This position is ideal for someone who is looking to advance their career within the construction and building sector, values collaboration and contributing to a positive work environment, and has fun in the process.
Duties include:
- Undertake design review periodically to ensure alignment with the project objectives.
- Preparation, updating and completion of federated 3D models.
- Investigative works and reporting including clash detection.
- Utilise the federate model to identify opportunities for improve in time, cost and quality deliverables.
- Coordinate delivery of Rvt. files and 3D models from relevant trades and consultants.
- Chair meetings and technical workshops as required.
- Develop and implement the Mossop BIM Execution Plan (BEP) to align with project objectives.
About You
This role would suit a BIM Coordinator with a minimum of 5+ years ‘experience, preferably within the construction industry, who has the following:
- A positive, passionate and collaborative approach and is excited to contribute to our dynamic design team.
- Previous experience working with BIM in Design, Architecture or Drafting in the commercial construction industry.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- A high level of understanding and knowledge of construction processes and methodologies including Industry Codes and Australian Standards.
- Highly analytical, innovative and outstanding attention to detail.
- Experience in Microsoft Office, Suite, AutoCAD, Revit and Navisworks required.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications, experience, trade background or architectural degree highly favourable.
- Hold a current unrestricted Australian driver’s licence.
