AddressFlick Anticimex Melbourne Hygiene team is looking for a permanent part time wash bay technician to join our team in Springvale. You will be provided with on the job training, so no experience required.
Job Description: As a Bin Washbay Attendant/Storeman, you will play a dual role in our operations. You will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining waste bins, as well as managing inventory and storage. Your key responsibilities will include:
Washbay Attendant Duties:
- Operating high-pressure washing equipment to clean sanitray and nappy waste bins.
- Ensuring the washbay area is kept clean and organized.
- Performing routine maintenance checks on cleaning equipment.
- Adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Reporting any damages or issues with bins to the supervisor.
Storeman Duties:
- Managing and organizing inventory in the storehouse.
- Receiving, checking, and storing incoming supplies.
- Keeping accurate records of inventory levels and movements.
- Preparing and packing orders for dispatch.
- Driving Forklift - License required
- Conducting regular stock audits and reports.
- Ensuring the storehouse is clean, organized, and safe.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role is an advantage but not required.
- Ability to operate cleaning and warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labor.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Basic understanding of health and safety practices.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage inventory.
