Our client has been an Australian family owned business for over 40 years providing full rock on ground services to the Quarrying, Mining and Civil Construction sectors.
Based in Southern New South Wales they are now seeking the services of a Blast Hole Driller to join the drill and blast team.
Shifts are from Monday to Friday with optional weekend work and overtime. Each shift is generally 10 to 12 hours each. A company vehicle is provided to and from the mining sites with attractive hourly rates and other company benefits.
About the Job
- Operate drills safely and responsibly.
- Participate in site risk assessments.
- Undertake thorough pre-starts and maintain good housekeeping duties.
About You
You are motivated, reliable and willing travel each week to mining sites. You are able to work alone as well as being part of a team, have high attention to detail and can follow instructions.
You must be willing to participate in a pre-employment medical which includes drug and alcohol screening.
Qualifications and Experience
- Prior experience in blast hold drilling is essential.
- Prior experience using Epiroc and Furukawa Blast Hole drills in highly advantageous.
- Drivers License is essential.
