Austec Building Automation has an installation base of over 150 individual buildings across Queensland and South Australia. These sites vary from commercial office towers, hospitals, council precincts, Australian Defence bases, major shopping centres and universities.
Our team of nearly 50 staff employ a large amount of industry experience and a diverse knowledge base. We are able to engineer, service, maintain and optimise a broad array of BMS vendor brands, products, devices and software which ensures a holistic and cost effective outcome for our varied customer base.
We have a strong emphasis on empowering our customers with data driven information. Promoting honest and open discussions regarding building condition and performance we strive to optimise our customer’s assets through innovative energy efficient strategies, with a strong focus on improving their NABERS rating.
Qualifications & experience
- Knowledge and/or experience of building management systems
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- The ability to demonstrate strong customer engagement and relationship skills
- Skills in IT, network communication and PC hardware configuration
- An electrical license or restricted electrical license is essential
- Hold a current driver’s license.
- Mechanical electrical and HVAC skilled technicians with a interest in BMS are encouraged to apply
Tasks & responsibilities
- Carry out routine service on Building and Energy Management Systems
- Carry out troubleshooting and diagnostics as an individual and in a team environment
- Generate quotations based off diagnostics and findings
- Liaise with customer to provide support and recommendations on efficiency upgrades to better the customers assets
- Provide quality reports on findings and service for the customer
