Our client is a global bank looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Board Secretary to support the Senior Management Committees in a newly created role in Sydney CBD.
You will play a pivotal role in ensuring the Senior Management Team stays organised and on top of their documentation; organising key meetings, drafting agendas, taking minutes and ensuring all projects and processes are running smoothly.
You will be a part of a newly created team, and working in a collaborative environment with a flat structure and great proximity to the senior level.
Our client really values flexibility and offers 2 days work from home, with Tuesday being the anchor day for the office.
What will your day-to-day look like?
- Look after Senior Management key Committees by setting up and coordinating meetings
- Minute taking for committee meetings (circa 10 committees)
- Drafting agendas and circulating follow-up action items
- Engaging with internal and external stakeholders on various corporate governance matters
- Ensuring projects and processes run smoothly and and necessary information for decision-making is timely delivered
What experience will you bring?
- 5-10 years of experience as a Board Coordinator/EA/Legal Secretary/Paralegal
- Experience in banking and financial services is beneficial but not a prerequisite
- Strong experience with minute-taking/circulating action items
- Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written
- Ability to build relationships with senior internal/external stakeholders
- Keen interest in corporate governance
