Australian Ballet School: Boarding Assistant (Casual)

The Australian Ballet School has transformed young talent into elite performers of the future on a global stage for over 60 years. A significant part of the student experience at this extraordinary organisation is the opportunity for our regional, interstate and international students to board at our student residence Marilyn Rowe House. Located close to University of Melbourne, this role is recruited specifically to be part of a dynamic, diverse and skilled team who work collectively provide a residential community so that these secondary students are able to learn and train at the highest standards.
The roster for this role ensures the 24/7 requirements are filled with a range of shift options, weekdays, morning, afternoon, evening and weekend. A minimum shift is 3 hours. Our Boarding Assistants must have the capacity to complete sleepover shifts (paid as a set allowance). Accommodation is not provided with this role. A minimum shift is 3 hours.
The applicant must have experience working with adolescents and completed or working towards tertiary qualifications that complement an holistic approach the students educational, training and performance needs.
The successful candidate will:

- Clear and articulate professional boundaries within a relaxed and homely environment
Qualifications & Checks
- Degree, Diploma in education or adolescent wellbeing role
- Current Working with Children Check
- First Aid certificate
- Current (national) Police Check
