If you have extensive experience in the Marine Fibreglass Lamination industry and would like to spend less time on the tools, this is the career upgrade you’ve been working towards.
Our New Product Introduction team is looking for a composite technician with demonstrated experience in marine fibreglass lamination.
More about the Role:
This role involves split duties: You'll spend approximately half your time in our design office documenting build processes and problem solving, and the other half assisting the lamination Boat Building crews with your trade skills.
No need to be a computer expert, all training is provided.
Enjoy working autonomously in a supportive environment with down to earth management.
With a solid understanding of the lamination process, you will be empowered to manage your time and task prioritisation while collaboratively working towards the New Product Introduction teams goals and deadlines.
Effective communication, demonstrated composite expertise, and a forward-thinking approach are vital in ensuring the seamless introduction of Riviera’s exciting new models into sustainable long-term production.
Requirements:
- Excellent trade skills in fibreglass Boat Building
- Experience in infusion and open mould processes is essential
- Experience in fibrelglass boat assembly is desirable
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Basic computer literacy
As this is partially an office-based role, you will also need:
- A willingness to learn basic computer skills such as; Microsoft: Outlook, Publisher, Word, Excel
- A professional demeanour and presentation
- Good written and communication skills
