Boiler Attendant

As a Boiler Attendant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our boiler systems. You will be responsible for monitoring boiler operations, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment within the meat processing industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor boiler systems to ensure they operate safely and efficiently.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance tasks on boilers and associated equipment.
• Monitor boiler water chemistry and perform water treatment as necessary.
• Respond promptly to alarms and abnormalities in boiler operations.
• Maintain accurate records of boiler operation, maintenance, and inspections.
• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve production targets and quality standards.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Boiler Attendant or similar role is preferred.
• Knowledge of boiler operations, maintenance, and safety protocols.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to safety regulations.
• Full Australian High Risk Boiler ticket is a MUST.
