2Nd Class Welder/ Trade Assistant

Based in Dandenong South, our client is seeking an experienced, hands-on 2nd Class Welder/ Trade Assistant to work along side Senior Tradespersons. This is an opportunity for a skilled, motivated and energetic individual to join our client’s growing business. If you have experience in manufacturing, have demonstrable leadership skills, are hands-on and great in problem solving, then this is a role you need to consider applying for.

Rate: Dayshift $45 + Super + OT MONDAY TO FRIDAY 7am - 3pm

Skills & Experience required:

• Demonstrated experienced working on site based mechanical installation projects
• Ability to use a variety of Hand Tools
• Ability to use a variety of Power tools
• Cutting & Drilling, Welding Plates
• Heavy Lifting - up to 20kgs
• Have a current drivers licence and reliable car.
• Commitment to safety
• Be physically fit to carry out manual handling tasks
• Open and clear communication in a team environment
• Experience in MIG welding, ticket NOT required
• Cert 4 in Fabrication OK
