About the role
As our next in Pit Field Boilermaker reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will work collaboratively towards delivering high quality solutions and results across our entire fleet both at the Breakdown and Planned/scheduled events.
Thiess Mount Pleasant Operation is situated 5 km outside of Muswellbrook in the Picturesque Hunter Valley. This is a permanent position, and you will work a Monday through Thursday 12-hour shifts.
In this role, you will:
Perform quality repairs and maintenance of a diverse fleet in accordance with Thiess policies and procedures, safely and efficiently
Source technical information from the relevant available reference manuals, technical bulletins and computer-based system and execute maintenance in accordance with this information
Be responsible for the use and proper storage of workshop and personal tooling and advise the supervisor of any defects or safety issues
Set and maintain high housekeeping standards
Carry out pre-start checks, and personal and group risk assessments as required by the task
About you
To be considered for this role you are required to have:
Trade Certificate in Engineering Fabrication or Equivalent
HR Drivers licence preferable
EWP, Dogging and MDG25 (preferable)
Post trade experience working in the mining and heavy earthmoving industry, or hydraulic excavator industry
