Mineco has operations throughout NSW, QLD & SA that provide mining services in a wide range of fields incl. equipment operations, road base rock crushing, specialist operator and mining strategy training, engineering/technical services, and equipment maintenance. Mineco has a position available for an experienced Boilermaker to showcase their skills and add value to its mining services operations. This is an opportunity to work as part of a team to deliver a quality service to our valued clients throughout the Hunter Valley Region.

About the Role:

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, this role is responsible for carrying out repairs and ongoing maintenance on our fleet of civil and heavy earth moving equipment. This is a residential role, Monday to Friday shifts with overtime available. The role will be for someone who is motivated, reliable, and self-sufficient with the ability to run and manage day-to-day tasks, along with future date planning of work to be completed, with the ability to prioritise tasks based on business requirements.

Your Skills and Experience:

• Boilermaker Trade Qualification or Equivalent

• Mine site experience preferred.

• Experience in light fabrication

• Experience in heavy fabrication on earthmoving equipment and attachments.

• Drivers’ Licence

• Able to pass a pre-employment medical.

• Demonstrated ability to apply safety system requirements consistently.

• Demonstrated initiative and strong work ethic.

• Sound understanding of technical drawings.
