About the Role
Due to continued expansion and internal growth our client is seeking an experienced Boilermaker to join their team and uphold their commitment to innovation, quality, and efficiency. The successful candidate will be responsible for fabricating, repairing, and installing metal structures, equipment, and components. The ideal candidates should have a strong background in metal fabrication, with excellent welding, cutting, and measuring skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fabricate, repair, and install metal structures, equipment, and components.
- Perform welding, cutting, and measuring tasks with precision and skill.
- Read and interpret technical drawings accurately.
- Utilise a range of metal fabrication tools and equipment effectively.
- Maintain a high level of quality and craftsmanship in all metal fabrication work.
- Ensure adherence to safety guidelines and regulations throughout the fabrication process.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve project goals and deadlines.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to metal fabrication as they arise.
- Keep the work area clean, organised, and properly maintained.
- Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in metal fabrication and welding.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Strong welding, cutting, and measuring skills.
- Ability to use various metal fabrication tools and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work to tight tolerances.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
