Qualifications & experience
- Cert III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade
- Minimum five years previous experience.
- Demonstrate through previous employment qualities of reliability, strong work ethic, teamwork and an understanding of the demands of a busy and diverse clientele and work environment.
- Self-motivated with high customer satisfaction acumen.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Fabrication and repair of structures, fixed plant and mobile assets as required.
- Welding of mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium.
- MIG, TIG and stick welding. Gouging and hard facing.
- Workshop and site work as required.
- Problem solving and creation of solutions.
- Perform at a high level of safety, quality and productivity.
